Sports Graffiti Bedroom

This room is for my 11 year old son who loves to compete and play sports. We wanted to do something a little more hip with a lot of impact so he could grow into it.

First the walls were painted a Stormy Gray Brown color including the ceiling. I had large scale vinyl decals made from photos of him in action playing sports along with some sports motivation quotes. The vinyl decals were separated out and taped onto the walls for placement. We moved them around to get the right spacing before getting ready to rub them on. The decals are like any other decals you have seen in the stores except on a much larger scale. It was a two person job to make sure the decals didn't fall and stick to things or itself.

The furniture in the room is a full size metal platform bed. The side table is a "locker room" style nightstand.

On one of the walls we placed floating silver shelves to display his sports trophies.
