Pirate's bed

My son were 7 year old. He interested about pirates.
My wife, my sister-in-law, my brother-in-law and I made this bed during one day. (But formerly we planned and arrangemented during a week.)

The base is an old bed, 80 year old.
I order a new tailor-made mattress.
Several accesories are original naval instruments (sextant and prismatic compass.
