turquoise with black & white scroll look- antique furniture

We are re doing my 11 year old daughters room with my grandmothers antique wood furniture. She has picked turquise with black & white scroll look. Also has some peace signs & high heeled shoes in one of the pillows. I want something unique. She currently has flowers, trees, ladybugs & turtles all over her room so something plain just won't work. Any great idea?
